A weekend in the stars , together we can grow heal and shine- Violetnight does cosmic exploration

A week ago I wrote about finding ways to help ourselves , healing , learning,  growing and experiencing often out side of the box we normally experience.

I do alot of my creative work at home by myself and to a large degree hibernating . Having worked in the music industry for a long time , exposed to large amounts of people I find myself disappointed by humanity often .

SO for my birthday I bought myself a 4 day retreat focusing on horoscopes in an effort to come out of my cave and meet new people. Learn some things and maybe even heal some of my life's experiences.

The even was run by http://www.cosmicintelligenceagency.comhttp://www.cosmicintelligenceagency.com and featured guest Astrology expert http://newparadigmastrology.com/kaypacha/ whose weekly astology run downs I have been enjoying for over a year via YouTube. I find his videos refreshing , funny and insightful for those of us who feel the energies of the planets.

DAY 1
When I arrived  I felt a little vunerable as I could hear people talking quite expertly about astrology a- I have a more basic understanding of it so my brain went into " oh no i'm fucked " mode .  Whilst unloading my bags and hats (of course) I connected instantly with lovely women . The afternoon was a coming together of everyone with food and high vibrations. This set the bar for the next four days and even in my sometimes shyness ( yes it's true i can be very shy ) I was so happy to have met 3 women straight awa who got my slightly offbeat humour and personality. Our guest kaypacha had such a warm and true loving spirit I was ready to learn and absorb knowing it was a safe space . We were greeted with our own little bag of information and personal star chart and  run down of what the planets were doing at this time.

DAY 2

Early rising for fab breakfast and then yoga - here we go . What was great about the event was the diverse range of ages , backgrounds , cultures and life experiences- the microcosm of the macrocosom. Kaypahca did yoga thru the star signs which was fun and a great workout. Currently as a larger version of myself I could not do many of the poses, but gave it my best shot. What was wonderful was seeing young 20 yr olds also unable to do the poses. When some one holds a lot of weight we can be so self critical - so seeing young very thin fit looking people not being able to hold the pose as well turned that voice off.

For me personally I was stunned when during one of the poses the grief of losing my mother came to the forefront. I found myself with tears running down my face- luckily for me we were in some strange postion so no one could see me lol.

At the end of the yoga we did a wonderful circle where we held eye contact , did not speak, I  gave love to each person I was looking at while "Imagine" John Lennon played. I think we all felt very moved and connected and had no idea that on the other side of the world some thing horrible was happening. So this for me was such a great moment that we all shared.

For the rest of the day I allowed my self to stay/allow/acknowledge  my grief  . I  knew that some thing was going to come up - so here it was on a large platter and at the same time many others were having experiences too. This makes for an interesting dynamic to the space as I could feel people's vunerabilites even on day 1 . So now here we all are out of our confort zone , interacting with strangers and facing what ever it is for each of us. The beauty of this event was we had a very funny and charismatic facilitator who was able to keep us laughing while we learnt about Chiron the wounded healer.

We experienced a wonderful talk  by Marg about daddiri .
This is the aboriginal australian knowledge on communing with nature. The site we stayed on was once a mission - this is where people were taken from their tribal areas and placed . Many different beleif structures and loss for the connection to home surroundings ment so much loss and grief for the people. we were asked to walk off into nature and commune with it. I do this daily but what I found in this expereience was a pain and sorrow of the spirits who had lived their, often never getting to return to their spiritual/dreaming place. I also had a wonderful feeling before the soorow took over and that was recognising that one can feel broken but is not. I saw a wattle tree that looked broken but infact it had bent over and grwn in a unique way to find the sunlight.

How wonderful to be surrounded by people with so much insight and knowledge. My "chiron wound" was in pisces which we were going to get to last -"guh" in my mind , how am i going to walk around with this grief and socialize ! It is good in life to test yourself. I had this happen often working in the music field as something may happen personally but you just had to push it aside depending what you were working on that day - if you are around hundreds of people you just have to "perform" and that is that. It is often assumed that those of us in the "limelight" are cruising along happy happy joy joy , often we ca be the most wounded- you just have to listen to lyrics to see that .

DAY 3

After breakfast it was straight into more indepth astrology . Humour is a great teacher and medicne, so Kaypacha once again was a fab fascilitator to hold the energy for us all who were chipping away at our wound or wounds . The final exercise for the wound came for me late in the day - once again the tears fell but I was held - literally by four people in a blanket and rocked back and forth. Grief for a dear one never subsides , but doing the inner work helps .

We were encouraged to meet new people every meal time and sit at different tables. Everyone on the weekend was wonderful and unique in thier own way . I spread the message of IAGBAM - to help all those who were feeling a lack of self worth - most of us do from time to time. And funnily enough, as is ofen the case the most naturally beautiful ones there were the ones who thought the least of themselves in some way or other.  That is not to suggest that some are not beautiful - that is not what I mean , but those Virgo goddesses who got up and in this one exercise were adored I could see some of them feeling uncomfortable - it's ok just remember we all are IAGBAM

We also got small sessions with chart readings done which was a great way to learn more about yourself and gain some wisdom into past life experiences and future direction. I sat with Linda who was for me perfect to get the insight I had come for. There are many different types of astrology I discovered my favourite is evolutionary ...yay I am constantly working on evolving :)

The evening was a chace to breath in the experiences and share time as one of the women form the Cosmc Intelligence Agency was having her birthday. Dancing is always great medicine too so it was good when those of us that were up for it had a little bit of a boogie and a laugh.

DAY 4

Our last day together was a series of short workshops. This for me was so much fun and insightfulness. We did out star chart manadala using tarot cards - which I know little about so one of my new friends shared some info and knowledge on that. I personally work with animal totem cards over that past so this was another new experience.  Then we did a colour test exercise and then finished off with finger print readings.

A final lunch and gathering ourselves together to leave. I often find at these events I do not want to leave as I find more connectedness with those there. I didn't get to meet everyone deeply but those I did was so wonderful . I met so many talented women who have much to share and are going to get their IAGBAM on and shoot for the stars. FOr those who have started looking at my facebook page lhttps://www.facebook.com/VioletNightIAGBAM/?ref=hl I am looking forward to sharing these peoples websites , talents and gifts .

I am unable to put eveyrthing int this blog , but I am able to say that if you get a chance to go to any workshops run by the http://www.cosmicintelligenceagency.com or http://newparadigmastrology.com/kaypacha/ I believe you will have a wonderful experience and meet amazing people and evolve more of you IAGBAM . As I said to this gorgeous woman below I see everyone with as much natural beauty as her , a constant ray of sunshine , we all have it we just stop beliving it - so getout there and believe radiate your light and shine on for the world

Tools for keeping it together

So how to keep "it " together ...

If you have read my other blogs you will undertand that my life is an emotional rocllercoaster from life's experiences. So you might be wondering how I keep it together ? It has been over a 15 years since I did the healing ceremony ( check out my BAM blog)BAM - ancient wisdom for the new paradigm and here I am reasonably balanced in an ever changing quite unbalanced world.

I touched very breifly in a blog about different tools for helping heal . Now I am going to share some links that I hope will help.

Firtsly I now have a facebook page

 https://www.facebook.com/VioletNightIAGBAM/

I post usually at least once a day with either inspiration or information by women about women for women . It may be humour , a picture or an article. I also like support other women and businesses so feel free to like my page and post up your stuff :) I very rarely put up posts condemning men , for we all need to integrate our masculine and I like men anyway !

Music ; I cannot emphasize enough the importance of music in life. Relaxation music and meditations are readily available on Youtube and many are worth subscribing to the channel so you  get regular updates one of my favourites is Source Vibrations here is a link to my fav music- I use this nearly every night to go to sleep , they have many and also on their web site offer a few free downloads.

https://youtu.be/6u0xIRID060

Dancing and exercise , walking I know I know you've heard it all before but it really is important and so good to help destress. Many areas have yoga classes , dance classes - i personally recommend blarring your fav tracks and just busting a move when no one is around. If you do have kids they will love dancing with you , get creative and play with it . Check out the fitness marshall - even has plus size women exercising with him .https://youtu.be/f6wm2g682JM

https://youtu.be/bSsnxx_r2N0 I loved denise Austin in the 90's she got me so toned i could horse ride for three hours and haven pain !! TRUE STORY .

EFT tapping... never heard of it, that's ok I only found out about it this year too. This particular site I am super found of as they offer many free downloads and also if you have the money they do courses/webinars as well. I have passed on this to several friends. One was full of trauma and stress and she found this practise wonderful . Another has many health problems and she too found this really great . So here is the site and if you are on facebook they are too and they put up daily quotes of inspiration.

http://www.thetappingsolution.com

For those who are interested or already on a spiritual path I could drop a heap of links here . Like all things it is best to go with what resonates foryou . There are many writers, channelers and channels you can check out . Here are some of my personal favourites

http://www.kryon.com/freeAudio_folder/2015_freeAudio.html
yes you read it right these are free audio and they will download onto a smart phone fairly easily .

My other fave spiritual guide is Matt Khan . He is a really amazing guy , yo might want to go to the beginning of his youtube so you get what he is talking about if you are knew to awakening on the spiritual path https://youtu.be/YrdCgmiMzoQ

Horoscopes . I discovered this hilarious and wise man thru an old music industry buddy many years ago , have even been on one of his retreats He does a weekly report of what the cosmos is doing and how it effects you/us check out "Kaypacha" https://www.youtube.com/user/tomlescher

Time in nature is a great healer . If you can , when ever you can spend in a little time with the earth and even 10 minutes and some deep breathing will be beneficial to your soul

This is my fav online magazine with loads of information - they even published one of my blogs- they have so much information on politics, technology and the arts.
http://paper.li/WomensPowerHub/1330811023

Comedy and entertainment is also really important. I found recently this amazing young woman who is a brilliant singer , ventriloquist and comedian

https://www.youtube.com/user/MeganPiphus/videos

https://youtu.be/wS2THqZemoc this has words that may offend- but it shouldn't that is the whole point of this sketch , he is funny and the ascended masters have no care for words like these, they do not hold a vibration . Why do I say that - i have listened to many spiritual lectures and it was also bought up in Conversationv with God III

A couple of weeks ago this amazing woman Marianne Williamson gave this speech so I am including this to give you an idea of what I post on my facebook page and also so inspire your passion - she is amazing and this is one heck of a speech

From treading on eggshells to walking with grace

I am writing this article for all the women on the planet.

I am writing this aritcle for those who have escaped domestic violence , for those trying to escape.

I am writing this to warn women so they never have to try to escape.

This needs to be shared so those who judge without understanding might now understand .

There is so much shame , blaming , guilt , asking herself why she stayed- why did she put up with it , how did she fall in love with that ? Even if the love didn't stay long - why did she think so little of herself to think it was ok to be treated like that? You can ask all those question she asked herself. The reponse buzz phrase these days - "it's complicated" - yeah it is , deeply complicated.

Some where on her journey in life somebody made her feel second rate. Was it another family member, society and ex boyfriend/girlfriend? The cliche - the damage is done now. Yes it is and she will live with the memories for the rest of her life....

JJ

Have you had to hide behind a tree in the middle of the night?
While your baby sleeps inside not knowing you're trying to save your lives.
Have you had to live each day by day wondering how you'll get away?
Looking at your children in the eye thinking how can we survive?

Wondering how you gonna make it with no money with no home
But deep down you no for all's sake you gotta go gotta go
The world stops around you all you can hear is your heart
Thumping madly , brain is churning in the dark, it's so dark

Please don't touch me , pretend you love me
just leave me alone.
Once again you drug me
When I wake up you've had your turn.

She got away , everyday she survives. Everyday she is amazing raising her children , still carrying those memories. She got away, it took planning but even with 5 children she did it. If you are reading this and thinking you cannot get away YOU CAN . You have to plan , you have to think a little ahead.

Alice

In the middle of the night she holds her baby tight ,
In the middle of the night she prays she'll see out the night.
Yelling , cursing pacing back and forth like a madman.
Threatening waving the didgeridoo over them.

She holds her breath praying , praying it will be over soon,
Praying she and baby will see another moon.
What happens if she moves, one false move it could be over.
What happens if she moves , one false move baby could be without her.
Still feeding from her breast , she feels the chills of regret.

With all her love she feels the guilt of bringing baby here.
Suffering this anger , loathing and despair.
Watching everytime with anguish and crying
As  mother takes a beating one more time one more time.

She got away , she survives everyday. Trying to push the memories away , knowing she will never let anyone treat her that way . EVER AGAIN.

It all started out like a good fun fling thing. Flirting , great conversations, fabulous sex, lots of laughs and generally good feeling times. Women love to feel sexy, loved , a little lusty and made to laugh right? Especially if we have low self esteem - and unfortunately most women do. It is our instinct to want to nuture and make some one feel good- even if this means putting ourselves second. We so often mistake these feelings for falling in love.

The fling thing turns a little more serious , words like "i love you" start getting thrown around.  Months have passed by and it all still seems great, even if signs are there , our desire to be loved and the use of sex as a means of control are starting to blot out the little warning signs that this person might not really be the right one.

Then it happens,  that time that you never think it could happen to you. Never in your wildest dreams did you think you would or could let it happen to you. BANG in the side of the head , out of left field with no warning. Just like in the cartoons you see stars/ white flash and your head is spinning. WTF ? did that just really happen? Raining down on top of that is a storm of verbal abuse, you want to duck run hide but there is no escape. The next day tears and denial "i was drunk" "I don't remember" "i've never hit a person before" DO NOT BELIEVE OR ACCEPT THESE LIES.

Tricia

Who's that screaming at my windows, screaming at my door?
I thought I had a sanctuary , no not anymore
I let you in I trusted you for the last time,
You'd be in jail now if hating me was a crime.

You lost control you couldn't handle what you said you did
You changed my life forever and I'm left raising you kids
Alone , ashamed and still you blame , like it's all up to me
But never have you stopped and still you take away my sanctuary

I'm learning everyday
And now I see through you
I'm learning everyday
I realize we do not need you

A better life
The best life
Is what I want for us
You wont be there, for the last time you broke our trust.

This week in my counrty I have witnessed in the media women die at the hands of their partner or ex partner. This year this seems to have sky rocketted,  the ones we actually know about.

For many who escape , it is a never ending journey. Fortnighty they regain their strength and drop the children off for teh court access visit, often feeling the danger and all the emotions of having to see that person.

My strongest advice , if you can,  never disclose your new address , meet somewhere neutral you will sleep better knowing they do not know where you are.

This is not exculsive to hetrosexual relationships. I am passionate about women finding self love,
any form of abuse - is just that ABUSE. Survivors need love and support , not judgement and intolerance. Survivors are AMAZING people , do not turn away and leave them.

Survivors are goddess too, they have forgotton .

To all the survivors , to all the people in an abusive relationship I hope you find your IAGBAM soon I hope you get out soon , love yourself and be loved in a way that honours you spirit . To all the young girls out there , read the articles/information below and learn the signs of a shadow man/woman so that you may never enter into a relationship like the ones above.

This is the century that this has to stop - enough is enough

I have included some great article's about relationships by kelly marceau;

Love your body http://madamenoire.com/481322/little-girls-drop-f-bombs-in-the-name-of-feminism/

OK Ladies it's time for us to knock off the self critizism , self loathing and comparing ourselves .

Of course it can be really hard if we have had this critizism come from those who we thought we trust and love the most. For me I had from about the age of 4 years old a father that called me "two tonne tessy". To this day I never have known why he did it, but the pain it cuased me was immense. It made me over the years settle for less than I was worth- as it infact gave me no self worth at all.  When I look back I realised why I settled for men who didn't treat me with the utmost respect. Luckily for me I had a mother who always supported me and loved me. My father loved me deeply too I am not saying he didn't just I had forgotten about it and what impact it had on my spirit until I was doing a workshop for releasing old traumas.

The critisizm did not stop with just my father. When I got to my first day of school it started again, "fatty fat fat" was the next attack. This was continued abuse at me for my first 3 years of school. I never retaliated, I am generally not that type of person. It did make me very unsure of people , and as I got older a very foul mouth. I found it better to call some one a "cunt" than attack there personal image.

Is it any wonder we compare , and belittle ourselves. THAT ALL CHANGES NOW !!

Firstly - if you compare yourself to let's say Beyonce - this woman works out constantly , has maids to do her house work, a nanny and can therefore dedicate herself to looking amazing full-time...oh and let's not forget a chef , dietician and personal trainer...I am already exhausted just writing about her lol.

This is only sustainable for the very wealthy. SO STOP COMPARING - it is the thief of joy - some famous yogi , guru type said that not me but i love it.

Secondly - YOU ARE IAGBAM .

If you have a partner who is complaining about your weight - get rid of him...if it is your husband then tell him to get you all the things beyonce has - that should shut him up. If you have children - cut yourself a break - you are being a provider and we know we put ourselves last on that one.

Thirdly- The media would have you believe that you  MUST have a perfect body. Have you seen rebel Wilson or Tess Holiday? If not go google. These women look stunning and they are large, according to some morbidly obese - what the fuck does that mean anyway ?! SO was my mother and lived till 77!! One of the world's most adored sexiest women was Marilyn Munroe - a size 14/16 , look how healthy her face always looked too.

If we tell ourselves in a negative way that we are this or that our cells here us and take it on board. That's the scientific fact. Check out the "water bottle" experiment where they put HATE on one bottle and LOVE on the other- the effect was the hate one turned to brackish water the love one went crystaline! If you are in anyway a believer in god/ higher power etc then you are saying you are not part of the beauty of that creation. SO either way you are being mean to yourself.

If the fashion industry got off it's anorexic arse it would realise there is a fortune to be made in dressing the larger sizes- hey I want to wear Gaultier but  he designs clothes for women with the body shape of a 10 year old boy....which accounts for about 8% of women who are actually that body type. If you look at all the famous people that are shoved in your face ( I choose not to buy women magazines) you will find out they all work out like fucking egyptian slaves. They probaly never eat chocolate( then it's not worth living) and never eat cake either.

When I as a size 12 I didn't actually realize I was most of the time. When I look back now - holy cow if i had kept that weight I would loook about 80 years old in the face right now.

I currently am the largest I have EVER been in my life...rockin around a size 22 . I have never felt more confident about who  I AM. Why??.....

It took nearly 15 years for me to actually get the ceremony I did and embrace my " BAM" check out that blog http://iagbam.blogspot.com.au/2015/05/bam-beautiful-and-magnificent-this-cam.html - yes I am beautiful and magnificent and at this size I have rejected more men knocking on my door than ever...from young men to older. The thing is as the great Shirley Bassey once sang " i don't pop my cork for every man I see"...Why ?? because I am worth more- I have so much self respect and love for myself that no drunken , very handsome guy (recently OMG he was to drool over)is going to think I am a push over...Because I am not.  And if you have read my single mother article you will know I don't get alot of chances to "get some" but for me now any sex has to be safe , has to be on my terms and because they are making me feel good not thinking I am an easy shag, oh and let's not forget AMAZING.

Forthly- (if there is such a word) When you are rocking in your spirit- got your BAM on men can feel it, so they are drawn to you...on the opposite side of it many women will hate you...we are so stupid sometimes getting caught up in this critisizing of each other.

What I have learned- you will hear it said- and it is SO TRUE ...only when you really love yourself will you get the love you are looking for - YOU ARE YOUR SOUL MATE !!!! SURPRISE !!! So when you realize you are an amazing creation you will stop looking for someone who is going to make yo believe that- wow I am tellin ya if some one had explained that to me at 18 I would have led a different life.

I am sharing what I know so you can find the some one who does treat you with love and respect and yes gives you butterflies, never  PMD PMR or TMLS !!! - check out my song or the lyrics breakdown  for those acronyms.

So stop the self sabotage, realize WE ARE ALL BEAUTIFUL AND MAGNIFICENT . There are loads of different women ,shape , color , size - be who you are - get away from those stupid magazines- have you noticed they tell you how to diet and then have the 12 page chocolate desert lift out??!!!

LOVE YOURSELF YOU ARE WORTH IT , YOU ARE AMAZING we all have days when we don't feel it but I am here to tell you , you can achieve it and be it

IAGBAM - repeat three times and say I LOVE YOU to yourself

Single mum's - what no one tells you

For centuries it's been going on ... the "norm" has been if you marry,  them then "till death do us part". Now depending on what era we are talking about , that was very literal. You could have your head chopped off during the medieval/dark ages, you could die in childbirth , up until 20th century was quite common place , or you could be beaten to death. The later still is happening now to women.

It is quite frightening to see the statics , particularly in Australia (where I live) of women dying at the hands of a husband/partner/spouse. Why is this still happening? Why are women still considered second rate , when in nearly all ancient cultures I have studied (and I have looked into alot ) the women were revered as the life givers , the law makers and in many cultures the priestesses, the leaders of their clans.

Here in Australia the Aboriginal women held the lore and later decided that they were being selfish and shared it with the men( not the best move ladies although completely compassionate ). The clan groups were matriarchal and there is only two tribes I have heard of that were not...even still with the decimation of culutre here , so much being lost that may not be correct.

But I am digressing. Today in most of western society a woman can get divorced without her thinking she is going to hell. However she may infact live a type of hell she wasn't expecting. If she has children - then she has to juggle day to day living and the children . Which means working , often some hideous job - like cleaning , factory work or god forbid prostitution(it happens). AND still deal with the residual emotions of the separation. In many cases she may have fled violence, verbal abuse or financial abuse in order to save her children.  Or she may have had a cheating scumbag partner. ALL of the fore mentioned - she comes off second best.

Whilst she feels she is scuffling around in the dirt , the added insult to injury is that many see her as blight on society maybe even a slut (usually the older generation) and have no idea how she feels at the end of the day.

How do I know this? I am a single mother . It was never something I saw in my child hood...most of us are programmed into believing everything is deliciously "disney" and we will find the prince charming. There was never in my generation anything but that conditioning. I myself had said I would never marry , I also said I would never have children. Both these announcements shocked my mother ( hey me too mum) and I learnt never say never.
My ex husband was actually a great friend for along time , until he decided bourbon and computers games were more exciting than me. So I actually dumped his arse. The father of my child...don't even start me that's probably a blog unto itself.

Staying on point...Not long after my mother died I was without a house to call my own, a child of two years of age and feeling like I wanted to die. I cannot stress enough to young women - this is not a  lifestyle choice!! I have many friends who are single mothers and we all can tell you how lonely it is. At night , when you have got you child/or children to bed , you are drained and without any comfort. There is no one to give you a hug, no one to help calm the child, help make a rule stick and most importantly no one to make you feel loved. At the end of a rough day you're on your own.

All my friends are amazing, as am I . We do not have a bottle firmly stuck to our lips(many even in relationships do) we are not drug addicts, legal or illegal and our children are loved, clothed , schooled and have a roof over their heads. Usually with no help from the "sperminator" .

This is how I found out about dating sites and the creeps that lurk therein. Out of sheer loneliness I joined a couple of them....Now after what i have stated before you might realise my actual ME time is  precious and limited. So after all the emotional shit the last thing I need is a bunch of DDI's wanting to use my time for free sexting or trying to manipulate some free pics of me naked.

I am not the average woman either , so a few of the dating sites were too conservative, there are no dating sites for dj's who like punk, goth , metal or electro (EDM). I even looked into the sugar daddy site thinking "I don't have time for a real relationship , but a high paid dinner and a quick shag could be fun" ... I haven't come across one guy who even came close to being  honest let alone interesting , and 9 times out of 10..it was all about texting dirty messages and getting their rocks off, yes you might get your rocks off too , but I can do that for myself any day of the week - I don't need to spent my wifi/phone credit on that. Gosh , let's just think of George Clooney (or whoever floats your boat) for that.

Any woman who tells you being a single mum is awesome , is a goddam liar. No one chooses this life. Actually the only one who is probably having an alright  time of it is JLO - hey she has a nanny, staff, possibly a few high end lovers , masseurs, make overs spa treatments and travels the world and is loved and adored by millions.
For the rest of us , it is lonely, emotionally draining ,thankless and tiring. In my 5 years as a single mum I have had 4 men tell me what a great job I am doing - I nearly fell over and burst into tears. One of them was the friend who recorded the vocals for this track...proof there are kind hearted men out there let's not give up - nearly all seem to be taken tho.

I wouldn't wish it on anyone, at the end of the day my friends and I all wish we had some one to snuggle up to , to make us feel loved , to take the pressure off -and hey a bit of financial support would be fucking great too. I am not whinging I adore my son I am sharing this so young girls really think through what their life might look like (nobody can predict the future) and to make smart choices because once the fun between the sheets is over you might be looking at a different life to what you expected. Use contraception , this also prevents any nasty little diseases that could down the track make your own personal life very traumatic , painful and permanent health problems.

My mantra has been IAGBAM for many years and another way to put it is I am a queen and deserve to be treated like one. This is why my song is tough, maybe considered aggressive - but hey I been thru some shit and I had to get it out, in between loads of washing, school lunches, playing lego , cleaning the house and djing where I can ! Damn straight IAGBAM and so are you , never forget it.

The celebs -Kim Kardashian, Kamaliya Zahoor, Ellen Degeneres

So why did I pick these famous people for #IAGBAM ? .... when coming up with lyrics many artists will tell you that things come to them "in the moment' .  This is exactly what happened while I was creating the backing track.

Out of nowhere the lyrics "coz I deserve love like Kim and Kayne , Zahoor and Kamaliya , Portia and Ellen" just popped out, I pressed record and listened back to it , and I liked it. So I decided to be sure on what I was stating.

I live without being hooked up to "normal " television in Australia, a choice that suits me very well, as I live in a rural hamlet where I enjoy nature and creativity and also high speed internet, ironic I know. So having only seen people "hating" on social media about the Kardasians I thought I had better check out what Kim and Kayne were like. So I went to one of my favourite television hosts- who had also popped up in my track Ellen Degeneres. I watched her interviews with both Kim and Kayne , which were separate, and it did infact appear that these are two people really in love. I did a little more "google - ing" and this all seemed to be backed up.  I am not sure why people hate them so much, maybe people are jealous. I am not a fan of Kayne's music at all and if we focus on our own lives it doesn't matter what they do. When I was a young punk/alternative person I did "hate" alot of commercial bands and artists...when you get wiser you realise this is mispent energy . Often in the 10980's we alternatives were hated on by people in the street.....however if we all did an eye for an eye the whole worl would be blind yeah?!! I do hope they realize they are huge role models for people and I always feel that those with so much influence can do great things for humanity if they choose to.

Who are Zahoor and Kamaliya- if you don't know it's time to catch up.  When I go to the city to visit one of my dearest friends I get to see  the latest on the cable network.  She tapes shows for me that she thinks we will enjoy together , one was "Meet the Russinas". Hell yeah I loved this show, I had an "auntie" from the former Yugoslavia when I was little and I loved her.  So I loved the accents straight away and I fell "in love" with Kamaliya. She has such a beautiful  spirit and to top it off makes fabulous dance music.  I watched her and her husband Mohammed Zahoor and thought what a gorgeous and truely in love couple. I am a huge fan of her music and am impressed that she now has a philanthropic fund to help children in the Ukraine who have become victims of the recent devastation.  She is a beautiful person with an amazing voice ....yes I will stop gushing now and here is a link to one of my fav songs the video is fun and glamorous

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C6PjPBDH1fw

Everyone should know who Ellen Degeneres is , and her beautiful and talented partner/wife Porita De Rossi. Probably the most famous lesbian couple of this millennium. I have since my teens had many lesbian (gosh I hate labels) friends and still do. I have no judgement on people's sexual preferences , just be happy.   I have a huge respect for both these women  and like I say in #IAGBAM they are in love , true love , real love. Ellen ends every show with "be kind to one another" , what a great world it would be if we were all the time. From her message we should all stop and think when go to attack some one . I have felt for a long time that the problem sometimes is people become too personally attatched to tv reality show and celebrities lives, that is great when we love them but not great when we  start judging them and projecting negativity towards them.

Women stand in their own personal power  are all beautiful, they are beautiful in their spirit, these women i have written about have found love ...and yes I hope one day I can get GRL like they have .

So be kind and you will feel kinder too, which in turn really menas you are being kind to your self- so you should you should love and honour yourself IAGBAM

The Love , The Power , The Unity of Women

The Love , The Power , The Unity  of Women

Throughout the gestation period of this track I have been lovingly supported by women, and a couple of men ...but  the sisters are the ones who held me up , held my heart and over many coffees,  chocolates and the occasional liquor  and lots of laughs IAGBAM has been birthed.

The women in the film clip are not just my friends. They are all multi talented , shinning hearts , professional , creative and nearly all mothers , like myself.

Some of them had to be almost dragged into being on film and I admire their guts for not just turning up but shinning even tho inside they were shaking.  I used masks throughtout the clip for several reasons. We all put subliminal masks on when we go out into the world not believing in our BAM.
All women are beautiful but often become objects  to others because of their beauty. And best of all it got the shyest of the group to loosen up and by the end of it they didn't need the masks anymore.

When I was editing the film clip I found myself in tears, laughing and being amazed at how , in the moment they each added a part of their true inner magnificence to the clip. The strength of these women and the different things they have all been through is for me, was why I chose them.

Represented not only in their physical diversity these women cover all aspects of being a woman ;
single mother,  divorced, happily married,  single independant woman , lesbian and the youngest in our group -daughter and yet to be dating , and the youngest is for me who I am singing out to .

The diversity of these women is amazing; Designer Rachel Amber Design. , Teacher,  Healer     http://redspasanctuary.com.au , Midwife,  Website designer , Massuer , Mosiac artist , Bird watcher ,  Vegetable Grower/Distributer , Painter , Sculpture , Dj and Horticulturalist !

This song is telling young women they are BAM that they don't have to take a guy who is going to PMD and especially PMR .  To give them a modern langauge they can identify with and  not get involved with a DDI and especially a MFP .

The two women who filmed the clip that you never see, are women I hold dear in my heart , completely different to each other , but both amazing shinning stars in their own right. Huge gratitude  goes out to them. Liz and Alanna I love you .

Some of the scenes were filmed at the fabulous shop in http://portal108.com.au Main Road Hepburn .
Owned and run by a wonderful female couple , much gratitude to them also, for staying back after closing hours to let us dance around in the front garden . As a lover of disco how could I ever go past a shop that has a giant mirror ball in the front ! The stock inside is funky , fabulous and unique too and supports many local artisans. Great clothes, kids toys , jewellery , handbags , plants and more Blessings ladies.

The bar scene and fabulous chaise lounge scenes were filmed at the glamourous Frangos and Frangos establishment on Vincent Street in Daylesford. Thankyou to Bernard and staff for your fabulous cocktails and support of IAGBAM.

what young girls and their parents should know about dating trends

MY Message to the young girls of the world and to parents who have young girls about to start dating ...taken from the acronym's from my IAGBAM song.

FMA - Fuck My Arse

AFD - Anal Fucking Disorder.

Seriously at my age I thought I had seen it all , heard it all or been told it all.  When I split from the father of my child , out of complete boredom I joined two different dating sites. Profile , picture little blurb, women get to join free - many of you know the drill harmless right? NO!

The first communication seemed normal, "Hi I am Barry , like your pic, what do you do " blah blah . Then the second message from Barry- " I can't wait to fuck your arsehole" WTF !!!! I almost fell off my chair.

Now I am no prude.I used to work in the niteclub industry and ran a B&D (Bondage and Discipline) club... I never did any of it but my theory was to each their own, no judgement just don't ask me to go up for a whipping , thanks for coming and let's get paid.  But anal sex is another thing all together.

Some one I know who used to go to these clubs recently posted on facebook and article called  "Anal is the new pussy". THAT"S IT I cracked it ( in australia that means i got really upset), I feel as my duty of protector of women , raising the vibration etc etc to inform young women this is not ok . Getting your anus bleached of hair lasered off is twisted and completely stupid. Mate if you have that much spare cash give it a homeless person or a charity that helps the poor FFS.

Here is what Cameron Diaz had to say about lasering pubic hair ;

https://youtu.be/djYGC_8JvnY

Now back to the anal sex issue...

I went to my girlfriends and asked them and here is the responses;

"Are you kidding? tell them to go put their dick in a tree "!!

"Might as well go sleep with a man"

"That's sodomy"

"You have to be in a long term relationship, trust and connected before they can even think about it"

I even asked one of my longest standing male BFF's and he said he broke up with a girl because she wanted to do it , it has never been even a curiousity for him.

When I started making this track , I was trying to think up acronym's all the time. Then it became apparent through posts on facebook and reading articles that this is what young women are being told is the new thing to do. I feel it is my duty to pass on information to women - especially young ones ,

THIS CAN BE RAPE , THIS IS NOT "NORMAL" .

If you have only dated a man for a small amount of time this should not even be coming up..they do have AFD (Anal Fucking Disorder)! I cannot stress enough to young women that this over generations has never been "NORMAL" . there are some cultures that would do it for "contraceptive reasons", excuse me while I go vomit- we all know that does not hold up in this day and age. This practise can be physically damaging and psychologically too . I do know of a young girl who was raped in this way and it has had a huge effect. If he is not interested in the wonders of your glorious vagina first and foremost then tell him to go find that tree !! What you explore together after years of deep connection and intimacy is then your own adventure or pleasure

WOMEN OF THE NEW MILLENIUM OF ENLIGHTENMENT DO NOT COMPROMISE THEMSELVES

REPEAT AFTER ME IAGBAM ...

I AM A GODDESS BEAUTIFUL AND MAGNIFICENT

BAM

BAM - Ancient wisdom for the new paradigm

Beautiful and Magnificent;

This came from a Maori ceremony I had the pleasure of doing back in 1999.
It was run by Aunty Kitty out in Maldon Victoria amongst the bush. The ceremony went like this...there was a spiral labrynth of small rocks set in a clearing of trees. One by one were guided to walk through it and the whole time in our head we had to say " I am beautiful and Magnificent" and not look at anyone else or interact. At the end we were to go up to a tree and ask it for forgiveness for something. I asked the trees to forgive us humans for our lack of regard for deforestation- yes I am a lover of the planet .
The men were also to do this ceremony and if we had time we were to go to the labrynth set up for them and balance ourselves. The Aunt told us that it may take days, weeks or even years to feel the power of the ceremony , many women were crying and feeling blessed by it.

So I came up with the new millennium acronym of  IAGBAM as a way for women to empower themself NOW completely in this time and space . For many of us we cannot  get to do this ceremony , so I am passing on the knowledge and wishing all women say this to themselves DAILY in a new modern way IAGBAM.

On my journey in life I have attended some different gatherings sharing indigenous wisdom and experienced different empowering and healing practitioners. Body work , kinesiology , NPL , EFT and meditation.

Many people are sceptical however if you find a the right person you can truely experience great personal empowerment and if you want it you can get your IAGBAM on and get the self love happening, it is essential to your happiness and wellbeing. Take care out there, be kind to yourself and one another .

IAGBAM - what's it all about ?

IAGBAM - what's it all about?

My mother was my best friend, 6 months before she died we had , as we often did, one of own little jokes....

Ever since I was around 13 I heard her constantly saying , with reference to my father Give Me Strength - which was her shortened version of God Give Me Strength Not To Kill Him. Now my mother deeply loved my father but he did things that constantly infuriated her. Her way of dealing with it was to say "GIVE ME STRENGTH" either loudly or under her breath depending on the situation.  SO one day I rang her and I said "you know that Usher with his OMG track? You should say GMS  every time  Dad does something annoying" . well she burst out laughing , she thought that was great . I too had a partner it  was in my second relationship , which was going dismally wrong and I had now had my only child who was 2 years old.
We spoke at least once a week, sometimes twice and so the next phone call I made to her I rang up and asked how she was , her reply- "GMS" I replied "me too" and we both cracked up laughing.

Six months later she was gone and to this day  I miss her dearly . So this song is an ode to her and what created for me a need to change the way women live their lives. Acronyms for the new millenium , as it would seem, no one can say a proper sentence anymore- #I'm fucking serious .

My mother grew up in a time where men "wore the pants" yet it was women who truely ran the household and my father would agree with this to this day. Sure he made the money but she got us to school, fed , clothed, educated enforced good manners, hosted and ran the dinner parties, got us to basketball games, friends houses, picked up from the nightclub at 2am etc

However the world was completely patriachal and demeaning of women , and it is improving but there are MANY things still out of balance- I am hoping with this song to turn this around.

We ladies know this now our modern world it seems everyone wants to use acronym's. So I decided girls and women needed a new set exclusively to help them communicate their concerns frustrations or dissatifaction with the male species. For young single girls I wanted them to be able to communicate quickly and easily when they are out looking for a potential boyfriend/partner. This is  not exclusive to hetrosexual females , I have many lesbian friends and I want all women to be empowered and deeply loved when entering a relationship.

For women in a relationship, there are times when you beloved does those little things that make you want to lose your shit in a heartbeat so now you can say in your mind or outloud "GMS" have a little laugh or grit your teeth. Be thankful you have a partner , we all come here to experience love and companionship , if you have that there can still be those little GMS times. My mother will laugh with you, infact I am sure all women will.
